Hand Eye’s portfolio of intellectual property (IP) assets was created through the original work of founders Jonathan Kessler and Boris Ralchenko. The substantial development effort made to create HIT – Hand Eye Interactive Technology – has resulted in the creation of a portfolio of unique, defensible IP that is fully owned by the company.
Hand Eye’s core development focus has been in the area of image processing to enable mobile devices, both with and without cameras, to interact with various video display systems. Much of Hand Eye’s work has been in creation of on-screen reference points, technology to correct parallax, and development of the sophisticated algorithms required to determine cursor location, and thereby navigate or smoothly draw on a video display screen.
Hand Eye Technologies has conducted several patent searches in the areas of image processing, collaborative application enablement and Interactive Television (ITV). The company has filed and owns several patent applications (US and International) in these arts. Hand Eye also plans to file additional patent applications covering inventions in the art of Interactive Television in the spring of 2009. |
